I loved training with the amazing atmosphere, must, lights, and the whole vibe! It was great to play with no worries and be super creative on the ball! I loved playing futsal because it was so fast paced and you got so many more touches! Mo made my foot skills much faster and gave mo more confidence with being creative on the ball. The encouragement and belief in my abilities from Mo helped me so much in my journey!

Going to Mad Skillz every Monday has always been one of my favorite parts of the week. When I first came I was nervous since everyone else had been been there for so long, but the environment was nothing but fun. Every training was full of healthy competition and amazing players. Mo really helped me improve my foot skills and become more confident in my 1v1s. Big thanks to Mad Skillz for taking my skills to a whole other level.

Over the past 8 years, training with Mo has helped me improve not only my technical skills but my speed of game. The environment that we train in is very upbeat and makes me always look forward to going to training. I have learned so many new skills and developed my foot skills to a level that I never thought I would be at. Mo is very encouraging and always wants what is best for us. The relationship that I have made with him is something that I will never forget and will continue to cherish. My progress that I have made for the past 8 years come form the technical and tactical work that I have done with Mad Skillz. The player that I am today would not be possible without the trainings with Mo. Thank you!

madskillz has been a great outlet for my soccer devolpment. ever since i started out as a little kid i would train with mo and anthem it always gave me something to look forward during the week other than my training with my club team. i can rightfully say that it gave me great aspects to use in the game that i still use to this day. every training would be extremely helpful for my technical game and my physical game. it also created great friendships with the people that were in my sessions and at the anthem trainings and games. madskills and anthem will always be a great outlet to me and i hope that it will be a place to get better everyday for the upcoming players that aspire to be one of the best

“When I first came to madskillz, I was really behind in the technical area of my game compared to other players. I had never been part of such a fast paced, high energy, and fun training environment. Once I started doing the weekly sessions and practiced what I learned outside of the sessions as well, my development rocketed. In my game today, one of my strengths is my ball control, and I owe all my confidence on the ball to mad skills. I am so thankful that I found mad skills when I did because it truly shaped me into the player I am today!”

I had an amazing experience with Mo! I came in very uncomfortable and not confident because of an ankle injury and feared doing small things. Madskillz training helped me to become confident with my playing. I worked extremely hard and Mo pushed me everyday to get stronger and better technically. Now at TCU I’ve been able to help my team towards the success of being a top 10 team

Mo took me in at 8 years old in the middle of a season. Mo got the most out of me as a player and as a person. He inspired me to be a great player and teammate all the time no matter what. The lessons Mo has taught me have stuck with me till now. I am now 18 years old playing collegiate soccer and I continued to refer back to and follow lessons learned by Mo. He has a great personality and heart that I will always remember.

I have and always will give credit to Mo Ruiz for helping me become the player I am today. From Cal Blues to Anthem Futsal… Mo has always helped me in my soccer career. Even despite the distance I am away from Mo, he always stays in contact with me and checks in and congratulates me on my continued successes. Along with myself, he has also helped my two younger sisters in their careers. My youngest sister, Sylvie Thompson, loves going to Mo and always makes our parents (or me) drive her to see Mo because of the HUGE impact he makes on her performance. Thank you Mo Ruiz for all you do for me, my family and MANY other families ❤️

Training at MadSkillz has shaped me into such a better player technically and tactically. I started training at MadSkillz in middle school and have grown so much to get to the point where I am now. I learned so many new skills and began to think faster and step up my game to the next level. After years of training there, I was given the opportunity to work there and train the kids at the level I was once at. I love seeing how happy the kids are to come to training and it is so amazing seeing how well they improved within weeks. It makes me extremely happy that the little kids are able to look up to me as a role model because I started where they were. Training/working at madskillz has truly been one of my greatest opportunities and I’m so thankful for everything that Coach Mo has helped me with.

His path was not an easy one, being forced to take more than a year off playing to recover from injury, spending the next year wondering if his speed would ever come back, juggling the sport with a crazy academic course load in school, self-studying additional college-level courses on his own, and doing competition math. Pursuing such a path has been an isolating and lonely journey that was hard at times, but he has handled every challenge with grace and determination.

I'm currently going through the process so from my experience I would have to say is hard work and the determination to play at the highest level you believe is possible for yourself. Coaches tell me "there's a college out there for everyone so don't let yourself get pressured into going somewhere you don't want to go. Remember that this is your process and spend the time, visits, and calls the way you want to." Definitely the mindset of believing this helped me completely.

The whole environment at Mad Skills is super fun and competitive especially because of the amazing coaches that helped create a competitive culture every training session. My years of training at Mad Skillz have helped me greatly. Starting very technical with consistent training at a young age allowed me to always feel comfortable on the ball. I’ve never had to worry about my first touch or ball manipulation because of the many hours I had dedicated to perfecting the Mad Skillz program.

When I first started mad skillz I remember thinking mo’s training was so much fun, I loved the environment of the training and the training itself did so much for me. Mo also made me feel welcome right away and is so good at getting to know every player. Over the years I spent with Mad skillz, my first touch and ball control developed so much. I felt more comfortable dribbling at speed and learned so many skills by training with Mo. During this time I was also playing for Anthem which was an amazing experience for both the futsal and social aspect. Each Sunday I loved going to training and just getting to play. Having an awesome futsal team and winning some tournaments was cool too. I am so thankful for Mo and Mad skillz and Anthem, he helped me develop the skills and technical abilities I needed in order to continue to play at the highest level. Thanks Mo!!

“Madskillz has helped me a ton with my development and my technical skills have improved a ton working with Mo. I love the environment that Mo creates with the players and how he always pushes them to be their best, while also having fun. I also loved doing Anthem when I was younger, we had a great team and won a lot of futsal tournaments. The practices were great and it was super beneficial to train with the best players around. One of my favorite things about Madskillz is how it helps your creativity on and off the ball and I love learning new skills every week. I also love doing 1v1s with Mo and beating him most of the time🤣🤝”

“Mad Skillz is a program that I have been with since the beginning. From when it started in a little room in Roseville, and continuing to be a part of such a special development to the place it’s at today. Mad Skillz is a place where you can go to grow, it is one of the friendliest environments to play in and learn in. Mo Ruiz is one of the best coaches I’ve ever trained with, he is a coach that will support you through anything and push you to be your best every single day. The skills that you can take away from these training are top tier and I was 100% certain that after every training with Mad Skillz, I came out better than when I stepped in the building. It truly is an incredible company and I as an athlete am beyond grateful for everything I learned there and the player it helped shape me into.”

“”Madskillz has definitely changed the way I view soccer as well as the way I play soccer. When I first started madskillz, It immediately helped me improve the skills necessary to play in the midfield and create chances for myself and others to score. It not only allowed me to make my touches, moves, and passes faster, but it helped me have a vision on the field for creating in the final third. “
